The Muir Storm VR600 Vertical Windlass is a compact and reliable anchoring system designed for vessels between 5 and 9 metres (16–31 feet). Built with polished marine-grade stainless steel, it delivers durable performance and smooth anchor handling in demanding marine environments.
Its vertical configuration allows the motor and gearbox to be mounted below deck, maintaining a clean deck appearance while improving protection from exposure. The integrated rope-chain gypsy and Rope Chain Management System (RCMS) ensure efficient handling of rope and chain combinations for consistent anchoring operation.
This model is equipped with a 12V DC motor rated at 550W and is configured to suit 1/4" (6mm) G4 chain, making it ideal for small to mid-size boats requiring a dependable and space-efficient anchoring solution.
