The Muir Storm VR2500 Vertical Windlass is a heavy-duty anchoring system designed for larger vessels requiring powerful and reliable performance. Built with polished marine-grade stainless steel components, it is engineered to handle demanding anchoring conditions while delivering smooth and consistent operation.
Its vertical configuration allows the motor and gearbox to be mounted below deck, maintaining a clean deck layout while protecting critical components from exposure. The integrated rope-chain gypsy and Rope Chain Management System (RCMS) ensure efficient handling of rope and chain combinations for dependable anchoring performance.
This model is available in both 12V and 24V configurations with a 1500W motor and is designed to suit 3/8" (10mm) G4 chain, making it ideal for larger vessels requiring high-capacity anchoring systems.
