The Muir HR2500 Cheetah is a high‑capacity horizontal windlass designed for vessels between 13 and 17 metres (42–57 feet). It features a durable marine‑grade white composite housing combined with chromed bronze and 316 stainless steel running gear. The HR2500 uses a heavy‑duty dual‑direction motor rated at 1500 watts, delivering exceptional pulling power for larger vessels and demanding anchoring conditions. Its oil‑bath worm drive gearbox ensures smooth, reliable operation and long service life.
This model supports multiple global chain standards and is compatible with 8mm, 10mm, and 13mm chain. It includes a high‑tensile stainless steel shaft, gypsy lock pawl, chain pipe and panel, independent gypsy and capstan operation, and front double‑row bearings for added strength.
