The Muir DFF10 Free Fall Drum Winch is a high-performance anchoring system designed for vessels between 8 and 10 metres (26–36 feet). It features a marine-grade 316 stainless steel drum, a heavy-duty dual-direction motor, and a superior oil-bath worm drive gearbox for smooth and reliable operation. The DFF10 is ideal for boats requiring fast anchor deployment with efficient retrieval, making it suitable for both recreational and light-commercial applications.
This package includes the full 12-volt DC configuration with a 1200-watt motor, circuit breaker, reversing solenoid, and toggle helm switch. The DFF10 provides powered retrieval with manual free fall deployment, allowing quick anchor release when needed. It is designed to handle 8mm or 10mm chain and 10mm rope, with drum capacity suitable for mid-size vessel anchoring systems.
