The Martyr Prop Nut Zinc Anode is designed to provide sacrificial corrosion protection for compatible marine propeller and propeller-shaft applications. Made from zinc, the anode gradually sacrifices itself to help protect the propeller, shaft, and other connected underwater metal components from galvanic corrosion.
Propeller anodes are exposed directly to the surrounding water and should be inspected regularly for signs of wear. Replacing a depleted anode helps maintain the intended level of corrosion protection and can help prevent premature damage to expensive underwater components.
