The Martyr Hull Anode measuring 8-5/8" x 4-1/4" is designed to provide sacrificial corrosion protection for compatible marine hulls and underwater metal structures. The anode gradually wears away during service, helping protect the hull and other connected metal components from galvanic corrosion.
Large hull anodes are commonly used on vessels where a greater amount of sacrificial material is required. Regular inspection is important to determine when the anode has become sufficiently depleted and needs replacement.
