- Description
This kit is designed for use in a polar environment and are based on content outlined in the Polar Code (IMO Resolution MSC.385(94)), PART I-B paragraph 9.1.
The equipment is delivered in a red heavy-duty, and watertight bag with waterproof zipper.
The bag features:
- 4 webbing handles on the top so it can be carried by more than 1 person.
- A webbing loop and reinforced bottom area in order to be easily carried or pulled onto the ice surface.
The spare (Personal Survival Kit) is included in the GSK bag, as indicated in the following table, but may be removed and carried separately as well.
