Reactor 40 autopilots are extremely versatile. Each corepack includes features for powerboats and sailing, including heading hold, wind hold, tack/jibe, and step turns. If your setup requires broader compatibility, the Reactor 40 mechanical/retrofit/solenoid option supports a wide range of steering systems, including hydraulic, cable drive, mechanical, and solenoid. Reactor 40 Mechanical/Retrofit/Solenoid Corepack
This model is ideal for sailboats and powerboats with direct or cable-actuated steering systems¹. The below-deck autopilot system provides captains with the “extra set of hands” they need, allowing them to safely manage sails, lines, winches, and radios. With its solid-state 9-axis AHRS, Reactor 40 can be mounted anywhere, in any orientation, and requires minimal commissioning.
