Steveston Marine & Hardware has AIS (Automatic Identification Systems) for all sizes of vessels. We supply both commercial and recreational boats with AIS receivers so other boats can see you, and transponders/transceivers (recommended) for full two-way visibility. AIS is both a navigation aid and an important layer of safety. Essential for areas with heavy commercial vessel traffic, AIS helps guide you safely through congested waterways. These systems are available in standalone models with integrated display screens or as “black box” units that integrate seamlessly with your chartplotter and radar.
