NMEA2000 Integration
The GX2400’s integrated NMEA2000 interface supports all major PGNs for navigation, GPS, AIS, and DSC functions. Simply plug it into your existing NMEA2000 network to enjoy full VHF and DSC functionality throughout your vessel.
Wireless Second Station (RAM4X) Capability
Control all radio functions wirelessly with the optional RAM4X Remote Access Microphone. Using the SCU-30 Wireless Access Point connected to the back of the GX2400, up to four RAM4X units can be synced. With a range of up to 65 feet, you can control radio operations — including DSC calling, position polling, group calling, and intercom functions — from anywhere on board.
Built-In AIS Receiver
The GX2400 displays AIS target data directly on the front panel, including MMSI, Call Sign, Ship Name, BRG, DST, SOG, and COG. AIS functionality allows direct DSC calls to nearby vessels, displays target positions relative to your own vessel, and issues CPA/TCPA alarms to alert you of potential collision risks.
Integrated 30W PA / Loudhailer
The built-in 30-watt PA and Loudhailer system includes preprogrammed foghorn signals, siren, and horn modes. It also supports listen-back operation, allowing two-way communication through the hailer speaker. The last used VHF channel remains active even while in PA or Fog mode for safety monitoring.
Integrated Voice Scrambler
The GX2400 includes a built-in 32-code voice scrambler for secure, private communication. Compatible with existing Standard Horizon 4-code scramblers, it ensures secure transmissions between equipped handheld or fixed-mount radios on shared frequencies.
