Tachometer with Hourmeter (6000 RPM) (Gas) (Inboard)
Electronic tachometers work by counting pulses generated by the ignition system, alternator, tachometer signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. The tachometer connects to +12 VDC, ground, and one of the signal sources. By selecting the correct tachometer and setting the switch on the back, it accurately measures pulses per engine revolution.
