Description:
Electronic synchronizers compare the pulse frequencies generated by the ignition systems, alternators, and tachometer signal generators of dual engine installations. The synchronizer connects to +12 VDC, ground, and each tachometer’s signal source. By selecting the correct synchronizer and setting the switch on the back, it compares the pulses per revolution of each engine and displays the RPM variance by swinging the pointer toward the slower engine.
The Dual Engine Synchronizer provides an accurate indication of when both engines are running at the same RPMs — or “synchronized.”
